Separated at Birth Chapter 5

Diana took Nadine to City Hall so she could see where her daddy works.

Diana and Rian talked to each other for a while before he left the building after work. He really needed to get home because he doesn't want Vinny and Nelly there alone.

After she showed Nadine City Hall they went to the theatre so she could also explore her mother's workplace.

When Pat got home he told his wife that she should go out for the afternoon because he can see that Rocky is stressing her out.

"I'm okay" Freya said

"You really need a break" Pat encouraged her to leave

"Are you sure you can take care of Rocky by yourself?"

"Yes. Just relax."

Freya left to visit the community pool.

When the bus dropped Vinny and Nelly off at the mayor's house Vinny invited his old friend over.

"I brought home a friend" Vinny told Rian.

"It's fine but you 2 stay outside. I don't want strangers in my house."

"Ok"

Pat had a plan. He gave himself a makeover so he won't easily be recognized. He then started his plan.

Vinny and Bella played tag outside, just like old times.

Pat went to Rocky and she was really surprised to see him dressed like that, though she wasn't scared.

He went closer to her and suddenly.....she shivered and remembered something.....she just remember there's one night....a dreadful night.....when something changed her life. She remembered it as that night. But she didn't have time to remember what happened that night as Pat took her from her crib.

He put her down in his room and told her to change, but it seemed he was a little sad as he spoke.

When she was done he picked her up and they went away from their home.

"I need to take her back to her family. She has to go back" Pat thought. He always knew why she wasn't happy here and now he's going to fix it.

When they got home Nadine had the same felling of something being wrong as she had in the taxi....and she didn't like it.

Pat and Rocky came to the back of the Matthew house. Rocky almost felt whole. She knew if she went in the house this feeling will be complete and sealed.

Then they saw Vinny and Nelly and the children saw them, but didn't know who it was.

They stood with their backs to each other to make sure if they were ambush they could fight from both sides.

But then Bella got too scared and began to run away and Vinny ran close after her to make sure she doesn't get hurt.

Nelly went to the park where she met someone from her new school at the park.

"You must be Nelly" the girl said

"Yes. What's your name?" Nelly replied.

"You don't need to know that yet"

"Why not?" Nelly asked confused.

"Because I said so" the girl snapped.

"How did you get into this school" the girl asked.

"Almost blew up the community school" Nelly said.

"Really?"

"It's no big"

"I know. It would be 'a big' if you actually blew it up"

"How did you get in?" Nelly asked.

"I stole all the money in my previous school, but I didn't get caught. I got caught when I put 50 bottles chili sauce in the mystery meat."

"Whoa!"

"I know"

"You know the new kid Vinny at school?" the girl asked.

"Yeah" Nelly answered.

"His face looks like this"

"Yeah he- What?!" Nelly yelled very confused.

Freya called Pat to tell him she'll be home in 5 minutes.

Pat decided to leave Rocky there so someone in this house will find her and she'll be with her real family.

He stole a tent that was left outside. He knew he couldn't go home now because his home is an hour away. He'll have to camp somewhere and go home after work.

Rocky started to feel uneasy and scared being alone outside in the dark. She started picking her nose to calm her nerves.

Then Pat changed his mind and picked Rocky up.

When Freya came home she found her house completely empty. She didn't hear a sound, not even a plank squeaking under someone’s feet. She was alone in the house.

Pat ran to the abandoned beach with Rocky.

They looked out over the sea. Will they be able to get home the next day? Pat started to think he should never attempted to get Rocky to her real parents.
